Just a quick entry to point out a unique aspect of THE MIGHTY MOTOR-SAPIENS. A good number of the secondary characters in the strip are real people. Actually they are ROWDY real people.

INTRODUCTIONS to the MM-S
Welcome to the first entry to THE MIGHTY MOTOR-SAPIENS blog. Mostly this is about a free daily comics strip that is produced by my studios (INSIGHT STUDIOS). MM-S was created by Dan Krall, Bob Tinnell and Mark Wheatley (that's me). But a daily comic strip is a LOT of work. And Dan, Bob and I are all busy also creating other comics. So we handed over the daily work of creation to four very talented men: MJ BUTLER writes the strip now, MATT PLOG draws the strip, CRAIG TAILLEFER inks the strip and ADAM BRAY colors the strip. At this point I'm still lettering the strip and playing at editing it.
The strip was created to add entertainment value to the ROWDY.com web community. This is a group of fans of NASCAR. I had experience in creating a comic book for the Dover International Speedway called MILES THE MONSTER. So it made sense to keep entertaining that audience.
The results have been a lot of fun. We've channeled our collective fond memories for SCOOBY DOO and INDEPENDENCE DAY into a off-beat adventure story set in the not-to-distant future. Lizards from the center of the Earth have taken over the surface world. And not much about daily life has changed for our four central teen characters - YET!
A WORD ABOUT TOONCASTING: If you come back to this blog entry at any time going forward - every day will see a NEW daily strip in the illustration slot. This is due to our custom TOONCASTING code.
